Ali's Pretty Little Lies
by Sara Shepard
The inside of Alison DiLaurentis’ mind is a scary place. Or should I say Courtney DiLaurentis? I will admit while I was reading the original series and got up to “Wanted” when we find out that Alison and Courtney are twins, and that why switched places, I found myself confused. And when the series ended, I still had a few questions. However, this book cleared everything up for me. I constantly found myself questioning which of the twins was more mentally ill. Sure the real Alison killed her sister. But the real Courtney stole her sister’s life. I liked that we got to see Alison’s (a.k.a. Courtney’s) thought processes and experiences that we didn’t get throughout the series, being that she was dead and her secrets died with her. I must say this might have been my favorite of the entire series!
