A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas

3.0

This was a nice, cute break between the books, but lowkey boring to read through.
Seeing the characters live their normal daily lives away from war, drama (partially) and big story moments, was a nice change, but I’m glad it wasn’t for long, lol. The only thing that really pissed me off, was constant changing of first and third person between chapters, which just really annoyed and confused me. I do not understand why it couldn’t stay all in first person, when the chapters have characters names anyway? Whatever.
I liked the little update on Tamlin, surprisingly even made me feel bad for him, it was nice to catch up with what he’s up to, no matter what an a-hole he’s been. Nesta pissed me off insanely and I really hope I will warm up to her, as her side was super boring to me in this book. And I hope it will change, as ACOSF is in her POV.
Most of the plots in here were pretty obvious to guess from the last book, but it was relaxing to read through fast. I also feel like I could’ve just skipped it completely and I wouldn’t really miss anything. But overall, I kind of enjoyed it.
