#Hadlink for cutest friends to lovers couple ever!
Hadley and James (now Link) were great friends in college... Until he left her for Hollywood while she started in her home town of Harvest Hollow and became a teacher. But now he needs her help to bolster his image so they will "fake date", get pictures leaked to the press of their coupling and then break up.
These two are so cute. I love the premise of Hadley's roommate in getting her to say "no!" when she doesn't want to do something and saying "yes" to different adventures. She is so sweet to help Link. I admire Link and his protectiveness of not just his mom from the spotlight but of Hadley as they go through this charade. I love the relationship of Hadley and her dad. I love the nickname "Hads" that James calls her.
There are many laugh out loud moments (honestly I got a lot of giggles from "The FUD", Hadley's boss/school principal). The Catty's Coffee scene had me rolling. I liked the side characters of Sam, Nina and Ray.
Love this book with muchness- iykyk and you will if you read the book! Thanks for making me swoon and love fall even more Julie!
