I loved the first book in this series and I finally picked up this one.  I listened to the audiobook, which is read by Danny DeVito.  Perfect casting, I loved it!  He gave so much heart and personality to Bob.  I loved seeing Bob's growth and learning his past.  Applegate is great at writing animal characters and this series is just wonderful.  I haven't watched the movie of The One and Only Ivan yet but I would love to.
