The Man Who Was Thursday: A Nightmare
by G.K. Chesterton
I tried to like this but just couldn't get into it.
Honestly, I wouldn't even put The Man Who Was Thursday: A Nightmare in the thriller or mystery column. Mostly because nothing seemed truly mysterious to me or thrilling. That being said, I was bored for most of this book. Okay, I lied. I was completely and utterly bored for the entire thing. At one point, I thought it was going to get better but nope, nada.
Thankfully, this went by so quickly due to it being such a short book. I will even admit that I was confused in a lot of things but that's because I wasn't reading this for a Philosophy or English class. It honestly felt like this would be better in a school setting and since I haven't been in college for a while - I couldn't really connect with anything.
