The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

4.5

This was an amazing conclusion to the trilogy and this is probably my favourite book out of all of them. I devoured this in a single day! It was that good.

We get a lot more Jude and Cardan content while also seeing Jude cope after the end of the previous book in the human world which was exciting, to say the least. My favourite part of the book was how there wasn’t an epic final battle between the protagonist and the antagonist like it always happens but everything was solved through trickery, politics and basically the way of the Fae.

The plot twist I didn’t see coming but I absolutely loved it and Cardan’s development? It was PERFECT. I loved seeing him as a King. He was both conniving and thoughtful. Jude stole the show though because while she might not be one, she thought like a Fae and she will make an absolutely perfect Queen. I’m very excited to start the novella because I can’t get enough of these books and the world of Elfhame!
