This was such a fast-paced page turner of a read. If you want to read a fantasy adventure with a political system that is corrupted at its core and has characters who race on hybrid monsters called kehoks, then I highly recommend this novel. It is a standalone novel too. It has a strong resolution where everything is tied up at the end.
