Mortal Engines by Philip Reeve

5.0

I loved this book so much; the settings, the characters, the plot, it was just all fantastic and I highly recommend this book. The end was so painful to read as it just delivered one emotional blow after another but that made it so good.

I loved Katherine and Pod way more this time than I did when I first read it (when I was maybe 12) and that made their plot that much more enjoyable to read. Hester and Tom obviously also deserve love, their plot being interesting and characters complex and a joy to read.

Okay that’s enough gushing, basically this book was great and I can’t wait for the rest of the series.
