A short breath of fresh air that examines the daily rituals of work that is never done. The laundry, the dishes, the cleaning - the women's work - that is quite literally never ending. Norris examines the negative effects that these tasks can have, but reminds us that there is beauty and can be pleasure in the relentless flow of these chores. Stuffed with both scripture and her own poetry, I found this to shine the brightest when she was simply contemplating the nature of the rote work we do in our everyday lives.
