The chapters were short & fast, but the book seemed slow and long at the same time. I listened to a majority on audiobook, but enjoyed the parts I read in print better. Lots of subtle hints and foreshadowing that I think gets missed in the audio so I would probably rate it higher if I had read the whole book in print. Overall, an interesting mystery read full of hard humanity moments.
