"To the stars who listen— and the dreams that are answered."

This is a “Now I understand why everyone talks about this series” type of post. I have to tell you, this review is a mess not only because I had so many things to say, but also because it’s impossible not to spoil anything.

Overall, this book was absolutely wonderful. I felt like I was reading a book set in a totally different universe, but in a good way. Whether it’s because of the change of environment (Night Court > Spring Court), the pace or the introduction of new characters, this second book was so much more entertaining. The friendship between the members of the Night Court was wholesome. Morrigan has my heart. What a badass.

The character development was really well done. Feyre finally realises that she deserves to be happy, and that she can overcome what she went through. That famous chapter 55? A masterpiece. The chemistry between Feyre and Rhysand is off the charts. I’m obsessed with them.
After that ending, I was speechless. There were so many events happening at once and so many reveals. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

About Tamlin/Feyre/Rhysand: These characters obviously all struggled with PTSD. While Tamlin tried to overcome his struggle alone and did not want to talk about it, nothing can excuse the way he treated Feyre. I mean, they could have overcome this together, but his fear got the upper hand. That betrayal at the end was clearly the worst thing he could have done. That man is stupid as hell, how can he think that Feyre will forgive him after that. I truly hope they get revenge, especially Nesta (I have a lot to say about her character, I don’t get the hate but I’m obviously waiting for her book before ranting). On the other hand, Rhysand decided to open up to Feyre, share what he went through and show her that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Feyre and Rhysand both deserve love, and I hope they will reunite very fast in that third book.
