I'm Glad My Mom Died
by Jennette McCurdy
I am glad her mom died too.
It’s such an insightful, raw, real book about her experience, ed, abuse, assault, grief. Saying I “enjoyed” the book sounds horrifying, but I did. I didn’t grow up on Nickelodeon, so I am not familiar with ICarly and such. But I have always been fascinated with people who have courage to speak ill of the dead (rightfully so).
Normally celebrity autobiographies come out a bit whiny. Not this. I hope she is doing well now.
