This is by far one of the worst books I've ever read. The only reason I finished it was to give it a fair review. That being said, how the actual --- does this book have over 4 stars?
I was so excited to read this because I'd read a previous series by this author and loved it. But this was just actual garbage. Absolutely nothing in this book should have been romanticized. The guy is awful to her, refuses to listen, does whatever he wants, never takes no for an answer no matter how many times she says it. But "it's okay" because he's hot.
I'm all for a book about a strong alpha male character but this was not it. He was just a crazy awful human who practically stalked and kidnapped her and everyone is acting like it's totally fine, because he loves her. It's giving serial killer vibes but in a romance book. I'm pretty sure the poor girl just has some weird version of Stockholm syndrome
