Maybe slightly better than Empire of Storms, but only by a miniscule amount to be frank. I love Choal and Yrene in this and his journey to healing and loved them getting to know each other.
Again, I found this boring and struggled with it. Maybe it was reading two 650 page books at the same time that did it for me, but I just cannot stay focused for this long in a world and force myself to enjoy it. Maybe this is why I enjoyed the only shorter books, so Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight and The Assassins Blade, because they were so much more fun!
