I ate this book up, what a bloody whirlwind. Incredibly fast paced with so much tension and grit, I couldn’t put it down. Freya’s nickname (do you call it that?) is born-in-fire and it’s wickedly accurate because her character is FIRE! Her passion, her determination and strength make for a fierce FMC that you can’t help but love, even when you’re screaming at her to make different choices.
My one tiny gripe is that I easily figured out the big *twist* super early on, so some of the end fell a little flat. That aside, this story was really well written, the characters hit you in the feels (the good, the bad and the ugly) and I loved every second of this adventure. Can’t wait for the next one!
