Say I Do

Lost a star for me because the two previous books built Benito up to be this badass leader of the mob, but when it came to his story we didn’t get nearly the bloodshed or sadist energy that was alluded to in the previous books. His brother Enzo tortures ppl for fun by ripping off their finger nails. The other brother Giancarlo shot a guy and then peed in the bullet hole. But they’re both scared of Benito? Not believable after reading this book. He mostly seems overwhelmed by his mob vs. going legitimate business man duties. Not that I’m bloodthirsty but if you’re going to present him as this mafia zaddy, you better deliver.
Regardless, out of all of the books this one definitely has the most sex, so there’s that. And his love interest is also a crazy killer (who delivers), so that brings in a new element. Overall it was a fun read and my 2nd fav pairing in the series - after Enzo and Tex. I thought it was a trilogy but there are even more books on the way. I’m looking forward to it.
