A Dirty Shame by Liliana Hart

3.0

I listened to book 2 via Hoopla. I don't know if I would have felt the same if I had read the book. Listening to Jack and JJ's story in this book seemed like there were a lot of moving parts.

The murders were gruesome. The story was kind of dark. My thought was the story lightened up some by the sheer fact of Jack and Jaye's relationship evolving.

There were a few surprises in this book as well as a kind of major one towards the end. Absolutely wasn't expecting it. Along with the darkness, there was danger, suspense, the mystery (of course), and romance.

I don't know what will happen in the next book, but at the rate they are going, this small town will be empty pretty soon.
