This was definitely the weakest book of the series. Maybe this trope just isn’t for me and their kinks i’m not a fan of LMAO. I can’t seem to care for either character. Cam seems so different than described in previous books (which I get if this book was a last minute decision to add to the series or wasn’t planned from the beginning) but it seems to not work. Dusty is a little too fake mysterious for no reason and his poetic way of speaking makes me cringe. I understand Cam’s background a little bit better but it still doesn’t work for how her character is? I think their dynamic is a lil weird bc it comes off as Dusty playing the nice guy who finds a quiet girl that he can dominate rather than them saying he showed her how to take control of her own life. I don’t see it…I absolutely hated how they fought bc it was super stupid to me. Especially the 2nd fight over the house ownership bc it made no sense? It felt like a reach just to have something. Ofc they had to have a falling out to come back even tho they already were coming back to each other after a whole 15 years? Also they both have no drive. Everything they have is Gus and Amos asking them to be at Rebel Blue and to stay. Neither of them have individual goals lol.
Graphic: Sexual content
Cringe warning!! (I love the other Rebel Blue Ranch books just not this one)
