This may be the first book I have ever been tempted to throw across the room. After getting used to the disorienting structure, I was into the story and trying to figure out the mystery. Then - wham!- the author ruined it by making a manor house mystery into a nonsensical dystopian tale. After that abrupt change, I limped through the final 60 pages just wanting the book to end. Read if you enjoy: disorienting stories, intricate plotting, weird structures, Groundhog Day, manor house mysteries
