I had to read this gem with my phone at hand because I had so many quotes I wanted to share with other readers. I updated my progress on this book more than I have any other book I’ve read since joining GR.
When Representative John Lewis died in July 2020, a hole was left in the world of activism. He left a legacy and very big shoes to fill. After all, Rep. Lewis was marching to the very end, joining protestors on corners in D.C. as the Black Lives Matter movement grew and grew following George Floyd’s murder.
