I agree with most that the overall message of this book is beautiful, and it had a lot of things going for it, but the flowery writing was so over the top that it actually pulled me out of the story so many times that I thought about giving up for quite awhile.
I’m glad I didn’t because the ending was great and even made me shed a few tears, but it was so long that writing style wasn’t my favorite for sure. I hope she tames that down in her next book, which I am interested in reading about the next brother.
