I had a lot of fun with this one!!! I really liked the characters + the magic is fun. It deals with the difficulties of the protagonist's life in a way that is sensitive and thoughtful, but also lighthearted. I like a book abt an old person - that's always fun. Nadia and Buck are both extremely fun characters and it's just nice to spend time with them! I don't know anything abt Glasgow, but the descriptions of the city are charming and loving. I had a good time!
