One Summer in Santorini by Sandy Barker

3.0

THIS BOOK IS THE BEST BEACH READ EVER.

The first part of this book was amazing. The parts in Santorini were everything to me, because it’s my dream to visit the island someday and reading this book felt like I could taste the atmosphere already. I was reading this on the beach in Cyprus, and it was the best. I would definitely recommend reading this book when you’re on vacation and at the beach or at the pool.

Unfortunately I didn’t liked the second part of the book, where Josh and James got introduced. Maybe it’s because I’m younger (20) and that Sarah is in her thirties that I didn’t liked the age gap between Sarah and Josh and Sarah and James. I just don’t feel attached to older man (like James, who was in his 50s). But I thought Josh on the other hand; was very adorable. But also I didn’t really liked the age gab. I also thought that Sarah started to get quite annoying when the two men came into the story.

If you’re looking for a quick, Greek, cute vibe in a book, I would definitely recommend this book. If you don’t like age gaps, don’t, bc it kinda annoyed me, but that’s just personal.
