One Shot by Lee Child
4.0
I had watched the movie for [b:One Shot|220968|One Shot (Jack Reacher, #9)|Lee Child|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1425164069s/220968.jpg|213966] when it first came out and thought it was all right. In fact, I had watched the movie before I read any of the Reacher books. I read [b:Killing Floor|78129|Killing Floor (Jack Reacher, #1)|Lee Child|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1399313258s/78129.jpg|4511038] in 2015 and enjoyed it to the point where I wanted to read more books in the series. I had read Baldacci's John Puller first and I could see that maybe Reacher was Baldacci's inspiration for that character. While I own about five or six more random books in the series, I wanted to read the series in order. As I don't have my hands on the second book in the series yet, I haven't read another book in the series for years.
I re-watched the movie about a month ago to refresh my memory about Tom Cruise's Reacher. This time, I liked the movie far better. So I decided to read the book it was based on out of order. As is the case with most books, I loved the book far more. Now I want to order book 2 of the series so I can start reading Reacher in correct order.
