Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen M. McManus
3.0

This is not a sequel to One Of Us Is Lying, which is confusing because the covers look so similar. Only thing they have in common is they are both murder mysteries from more than one point of view. While One had incredible pacing, great character development, and plenty of intrigue, Two felt like a let down.

There were just enough interesting nuggets to keep me reading, but wow this book is slow. So slow that my audiobook returned itself to the library and I had to wait for it on hold to finish the rest. I get that a case will go cold often while hints come up, but the problem was the characters were really dull in their daily lives, so the parts where the case went cold were quite boring. The climax and wind down were enjoyable and did a good job tying up all the loose ends.
