The Chestnut Man

This novel is for anyone who loves Criminal Minds, Lie To Me, or Castle. It is a slow burn for the first half to lay the foundation of the characters and then a fast-paced race to find out who the killer is.

Things I loved:
Short chapters
Each chapter focused on one character
I didn't guess the killer
All of the clues and hints came together perfectly

Synopsis: The Chestnut Man is on a killing spree. His signature is leaving behind a chestnut man made with match sticks. If you find a chestnut man, he has already found you. There seems to be a connection between the women he has killed but he seems to always be one step ahead of the police. The detectives believe this could be connected to a child abduction case from the previous year but their boss forbids them from digging into it. Is this revenge or a coincidence?
