Can't Look Away by Carola Lovering

4.0

Alternating between the past, 2013-2016, to the present, 2022, this story is told from the perspective of three characters. Molly, who’s married to Hunter, Jake, who used to date Molly and a girl named Sabrina.

Molly runs her own yoga studio - on the day of one of her classes Sabrina walks in. Molly runs into Sabrina again at a fertility center a few days later and they become fast friends. However, Sabrina isn’t quite who she presents herself to be.

I really shouldn’t have liked this book as much as I did - it’s mostly about romance - but the dark and sinister undertones of the story can be felt throughout and really hooked me.

Engaging and totally gripping I was never bored with the story. The complexities of relationships and love play out in a natural and honest way. I think many will relate to some part of this story.

The villain and hero of this story can be any one of the characters; it only depends on which side of the penny you’re looking at. And that makes for a great story.

You’ll probably guess the plot twist - I did.
