What Feasts at Night is the second book in the Sworn soldier series, or is it a duology (I hope not)? After solving the mystery in the Usher home, Alex Easton accompanied by Angus (his good friend/ valet/ groom/ voice of reason), and their trusty horses, arrive in Gallacia at the Easton family hunting lodge, where a new nightmare like situation unfolds.
Here we encounter a folklore inspired moth-girl monster that hunts people's dreams and tries to steal their breath, therefore someone must find out how fight this creature before more people die.
The descriptions in this book are beautiful and  really manage to transport you in the story. It's also a short, fast paced novella, perfect for an easy read, especially if you find yourself in a reading slump or if you're kinda busy but still want to read something that won't take much of your brain space.
I loved this book.... the atmosphere, the characters, the dialogue, Alex's inner monologue and their funny remarks. I need more books in this series 😍
