Teaching to Transgress: Education as the Practice of Freedom by bell hooks

5.0

I’m not an educator by any means, but I can’t deny a good bell hooks book. She does it again with the array of stunning essays that range from deep philosophical discussions of race and feminism to the necessity of engaging excitement in the classroom.
If you are an educator, don’t hesitate to read this one. If you’re like me, just interested in learning, give this a read too.

Now I’m off to go look for the next bell hooks book to read!
