this more of a love story with duna kind of review than a actual review.

I want to read Duna since I was 8 years old and my brother told me that I should because was cool asf. But I never had the courage to: it was too long and I was too confused with the writing that my child-point-of-view could not understand.

In march 2025, I was going to travel back to my city in a 5 hours bus ride with my phone at 20% and my boyfriend gave me his Duna so I could be entertained. And oh boy was I entertained. I devoured the first 5 chapters so fast and love it so much that was hard to believe that I was in such a reading hangover before. And although I had moments where I paused my reading for a bit, I never felt like quitting or leaving this book for another. The worldbuilding (so perfectly done btw),  the characters description, the powers involved, the drama and, specially, the burden - that not only Paul carries - that shakes people’s decision and feelings for others. Every part of this book is so well done and so emotionally connected that you will certain feel like you are part of this world.

I could spend more time writing about this book, but is truly just fenomenal. Worth every second ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
