I LOVED IT!!!! This is the first true romance I read but i LOVEDDDD it. I thought the storyline was so good; with Rue and Eli meeting and him protecting her right off the bat and then them meeting again and again just in their daily lives. I loved how much he yearned for her and even though she didn’t show it as much she yearned for him too. I also lovedddd the science subplot and the mystery of if Rue’s friend Florence Klein was the bad guy or if Harkness was. And then it was Florence!!! I loved the reveal and build up and how Eli always wanted her to be okay even he was telling Rue about what Florence had done to them. And then Eli doing so much for Rue and negotiating with Florence so that she wouldn’t sell Rue’s patent even though that would mean letting Florence keep 5% of the company which they didn’t want her to have any. He was so in love with her and I just LOVEDDDD it!!!!
