I hope that in this futuristic world assholes were self-lubricating. Because they never used lube once and he supposedly had a monster dick. I know it was in the trigger warning but I couldn’t read the sex scenes without clenching and not in a good way. Gah.
It didn’t seem to need to be futuristic, either. It was a college mafia romance and she added some Jetson-like touches. I think if you are going to write sci-fi, you have to be committed, nerd out and make it integral to the plot. This whole story could have happened without the hover boards.
This was eh, beyond the fact that I couldn’t enjoy the steam. I like possessive guys but I just didn’t really feel their chemistry. And the Oli storyline was just stupid.
