Evil Star by Anthony Horowitz

5.0

I loved Evil Star just as much as I loved Raven's Gate. It's essentially the perfect sequel to the previous book in the series.
I really like the fact that Horowitz gave us more of an insight to what Gwenda and Brian's life had been like since Matt had left their 'care'. I also love how Horowitz gave us a taste of what Matt's life had been like since he'd moved in with Richard and what his school life was like.

One of my favourite chapters of this books has got to be when Matt and Pedro met. I was rather surprised at the scenario in which Matt and Pedro met. however, I really liked it. I also love the scenes when Matt and Pedro are in their dream world and are talking. I also loved the conversation Pedro and Matt had through Sebastian's translating when Pedro said that he trusted Matt. I think that was the event that solidified Pedro and Matt's friendship. I'd recommend this to anyone who has already read the first book and anyone who is a fan of supernatural books.
