This was a perfect palette cleanser book! I flew through it in about two days so I’d be ready for book club, and it was just delightful. Each character was quirky and interesting, and while some things felt a bit rushed, I thought Mika and Jamie were a wonderful grumpy-sunshine pairing. I absolutory recommend picking this up for a quick and heartwarming read, especially if you’re into the cottagecore witch aesthetic.
