For some reason this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I found my eyes filled with tears, quite often. The highs and lows knit a compelling story that kept me turning the page. Only reason I didn’t give this five stars is simply due to the disappointing end of the story. I know not everything always ends neatly tied with a bow, but without giving too much of the story away I will say that the tears that came to my eyes for Nori at the end of this story, were tears of sadness and heartbreak for her character. Not joy like I had hoped. Overall, this is a story that definitely pulls on your heartstrings.
