In part two of the Transformation Trilogy, Rhaim is furious with what occurred at the end of book one and confronts Lisanes father. Cutting all ties as the deal has been broken.
When her returns, he flies the castle to a small town he is well-known and is treated with respect and honor. Lisane is given free rein to venture out on her own, making friends and learning about city living.
The relationship between Rhaim and Lisane is slowly building stronger and advancing her magical ability.
Rhaim knows the inevitable is bound to happen, one day she will end him, how, why, and when are the unknowns. He seeks guidance and protection for Lisane from an old friend and mentor, who in the end, agrees to watch over her when the time comes.
The Deathless are still invading the world, causing death and destruction wherever they spawn.
Will Lisane and Rhaim continue their slow-burning love story or will they be interrupted? How will the obstacles set in the way be overcome? Will Lisane continue to flourish or would that be taken away from her?
My Review:
This is book two of the Transformation Trilogy and I absolutely love it!! There are plenty of slow-burning, heated, sexual scenes between Lisane and Rhaim. Spicy! Be prepared for some torturous ways.
The storyline has a flawless and continuous flow throughout the book which keeps readers engaged and wanting to know about the journey.
Having a dual Point Of View story is wonderful as the reader can step foot in both main characters' shoes and really grasp what they are thinking and feeling.
The ending actually sent a slight shock wave through my body and heart with an "oh no!" response, leaving it off on a cliffhanger and really wishing that book three was to come out sooner.
Book three, MAKE HER, is set to release on August 15, 2023. I will be one of the first ones in line to purchase this book to see how the ending plays out.
