Passion by Lauren Kate
2.0

This is my least favorite book of the Fallen series so far. I really enjoyed Fallen, and haven't liked a book in the series since. I am in no hurry to continue on with this series since every book after Fallen has been disappointing.

Things I liked:
- The concept of the story line is really interesting. This is the only aspect of this book that I enjoyed and it is the only reason that I am continuing on in this series.

Things I didn't like:
- Luce is extremely annoying. She continues to make the worst choices and she made me want to stop reading this book so many times.
- This book jumps from one of Luce's lives to the next. It is very jarring and doesn't flow well. Just as soon as you get invested in one story, BAM, you are into the next.
- I don't think a lot of the concepts are explained well. I kept wondering how certain things were happening (Announcers, etc) and they are never really explained. Also, some of the things that occur don't make sense.
- Bill is terrible. And the fact that Luce doesn't even question his motives after he continually deceives her is ridiculous. After everything that has happened and all the warnings Daniel has given her, she continues to blindly trust strangers.
- The whole book is so frustrating and I wanted to stop reading so many times. The only thing that stopped me was the fact that I want to know more about the different concepts explored in the book.
