I enjoyed this book, but I don’t think it’ll make a lasting impression on me. Much darker themes than I would have expected from the cover (I had previously heard the cover controversy, but wow does it mislead the reader about the severity of some of the scenes). I appreciated Zott as a character, though I still think she was an oddball for wearing her lab coat out of the lab.
