Glamorous Illusions by Lisa T. Bergren
3.0
Genre: identity, blended families, Grand Tour
Summary: The summer of 1913, Cora comes home from college to find the home farm in danger of going under and her father suffering a stroke. A stranger comes to call and reveals a horrible secret that changes Cora's future drastically. Suddenly, she is whisked off to Europe to experience the Grand Tour with strangers that are long-lost family.
Response: This was a pretty good read. I didn't really love the Christian Lit component of the storyline. It got a little dull after awhile. However, the story was very detailed in going through the stops in the Grand Tour and it made me want to travel abroad very badly. The last three or four chapters got kind of exciting, I kind of wished the whole book was like that, but overall, it was a nice read.
