Ugh. What the fuck did I just read? Why was this published? Yikes… I am genuinely baffled that this book has so many 4/5 star reviews, this book was just not it.
Aoife & Joey’s relationship is so fucking toxic. I hated Aoife in this book, her two personality traits are - 1. Joey & 2. Telling everyone that she’s a virgin. Why the fuck did she string Paul along for YEARS?! Paul is a piece of shit who cheats, treats her like a trophy & just wants her virginity, so he 100% is an arsehole - but why didn’t Aoife end it? Like seriously?! She openly admits to not loving him or really having any feelings about him so why not just cut him loose? Joey & Aoife’s romantic relationship only developed 3/4 in…
Justice for Joey Lynch. This man, god I feel for him 🥺 Though why the fuck he’s with Aoife, I’ll never know. I truly hope the next book is better, I struggled through this & was so tempted to DNF but I do think want to continue series, so I powered through - it was fucking hard, giving myself a pat on the back, thank fuck this book is finished.
The 1 ⭐️ is solely for Joey & the Gibsie/Johnny cameo we get.
