I skipped a lot of chapters in this story because it became way too graphic for me. I believe that the author didn't have to go into graphic detail about all of what Adeline had to endure. It's fucking sick what people try to force on someone.

On a lighter note, I feel as if Zade did redeem himself in this story. I'm not sure if I'm going to read anything else by H.D. Carlton for a while because this book fucked with me mentally.
