What an excellent read! I love historical fiction especially historical fiction that highlights classist inequities or reveals the lives of artistically minded individuals. What a great story- more focused on the values of friendship and being true to yourself than on romantic entanglements (although there is some sweet romance). I especially liked the way the author chose the building of the Eiffel Tower as the historical even to highlight the theme of her book. Great read!
