Where You See Yourself
by Claire Forrest
"That beautiful feeling is for all girls. That beautiful feeling is for me."
This is such a sweet and enlightening story about a girl with cerebral palsy during her senior year of high school, and all the things she has to consider when choosing a college.
I loved this story. It definitely has a very YA feel, so it may not be one that all adult readers will enjoy, but as I am trying to read more diverse stories and learn more about people whose lives are different than my own, I thought it was important to include disabilities in that list, and I this book absolutely opened my eyes to things that I never gave much thought to before.
It's also just a very sweet, inspirational read.
