What to Do When Someone Dies
by Nicci French
It was way more beautiful then I was expecting. Some of the lines about loss were really well written. I like that we’re not 100% sure if we can trust what our narrator believes. The twists were good and pretty unexpected. It was a fairly easy read, not too long or challenging. If you are a Shari Lapena, I think you would really like this book.
My only problems with the book are 1) it felt like every other chapter Ellie says she’s going to get her life in order, then finds a new revolution. It got a tad annoying but not enough for me to want to stop. 2) I’m confused on the ending and how Melina was connected to it.
Overall it was a good and easy read. I’ll definitely be reading more by the author.
