Siedmiu mężów Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

five stars feels inadequate. i want to give this book everything that i have.
i don’t remember the last time i cried while reading a book, but fuck i broke down somewhere in the middle of this one and the weird ache in my chest hasn’t left me yet!!! hoW DO I MOVE ON!!!
i Hate evelyn but i also love her so dearly. i love how flawed and simultaneously alluring she is. unapologetically herself, doing everything in her power to get what she wants for herself and her loved ones. my heart broke for her so many times during this read, and i just wanted to!!! hug her. i wanted nothing more for her but to find loving and caring people to surround herself with, and--although admittedly IT HURT!!!!--i’m glad she finally did.
there wasn’t a moment throughout the book when was bored, and i literally read it in one day. i think i would’ve read it over the night if only i hadn’t forced myself to put it away for the sake of my sanity.
and now that i’m done with this story, i don’t know what to do with myself. how do i cope. how do i move on. how do i find something this beautiful and heart-wrenching as evelyn’s story written by taylor jenkins reid in the most beautiful prose possible.
