You know the episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race where the contestants have to act out a scene in a fake TV show, newscast, movie, or commercial?  That's what the final conflict of this book felt like.  And it was AMAZING.

This whole book is a delightful escape from reality.  I had worried that after the first book it would start to feel redundant and excessive, but I had nothing to worry about.  It was campy, it was cozy, it was the best kind of found family and quirky side characters.

The plot was outrageous and the conclusion was in now way based in reality, but I could not care less.  I was laughing and kicking my feet and loving every second of it.

If you need an escape from heavier books or just want an escape from reality, I could not recommend this book highly enough.
