clabbeck 's review for:
The Wonder Boy of Whistle Stop
by Fannie Flagg
I'd probably give it a 3.5/5.
It was nice to go back to some of the original characters, and it was extra nice that it lacked the problematic aspects/language of the original book from the 80's (to be expected though).
Wasn't a big fan of how the story skipped around. It also didn't have the depth that set the first one apart - it felt pretty topical and I didn't fall in love with a ton of characters like before. But, it was a nice easy read for a stressful part of the year.
