Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

Did not finish book. Stopped at 8%.
Racist descriptions of Park that were very blatant. We understand that the characters are in middle school and in a predominantly white school but this doesn’t excuse the causality of Eleanor’s racist descriptions of Park. It made her no better than the other boys teasing Park. Very disappointing considering how much people say they love Rainbow Rowell.
