A Cowboy's Home
by R.J. Scott
Ah, the culmination of the series - so far! Devoured in one sitting.
Justin is a pressure cooker - all his pain and anger from when he and Adam ran and were kidnapped is pushed deep inside, his need for revenge is pushed in too, his humanity has been oushed down, his betrayal by his bosses is in there and his need to protect his family in the final squeeze.
So I can understand him latching onto Sam as an unknown factor in the family dynamic and i felt his need for revenge. We didn't get a full history of the mssing years but enough to put it together. And he wants to protect Adam which is understandable.
Lots of tension and reaction from all the guys who were around when Adam and Justin left. Cole was missing though, felt he should have been mentioned at least.
Definitely a reread series.
