Crows remember human faces. They remember the people who feed them, who are kind to them. And the people who wrong them too. They don’t forget. They tell each other who to look after and who to watch out for.

Per quanto mi riguarda non credo che esista nel panorama internazionale un autore o autrice in grado di competere con la Bardugo in questa categoria di libri.
Il Regno Corrotto ha alzato ancora di più l'asticella rispetto al primo, cosa che non credevo possibile, eppure eccoci qui. Questo libro mi ha letteralmente tolto gli ultimi anni di gioventù che mi restavano. Ho faticato a finirlo perché l'idea di dover chiudere con i Corvi era ed è per me assolutamente inaccettabile. Non c'è stato un attimo in cui mi sono sentita annoiata. Ci sono stati momenti felici e momenti profondamente tristi. La coerenza narrativa è rimasta intatta, insieme a quella di tutti i personaggi. Mi mancheranno molto. Che spettacolo.
